What to do next?
Recognising that choosing childcare is one of the hardest decisions to make, we endeavour to help you with this process where possible by offering you:
- A tour of the setting with an explanation of room actives and our approach to how we meet the challenges of the Early Years Foundation Stage as laid down by the Department for children schools and families (www.dcsf.gov.uk)
- An individual consultation with a Director to fully understand both child and parent requirements, and to discuss any potential concerns that you may have.
- An introduction to the staff and Room Leaders responsible for your child.
- Up to two familiarisation sessions where you can stay at the setting and help the staff assess individual starting points for your child and work alongside staff to help settle your son or daughter into their new environment. We do not charge for these sessions.
- Our Information Sheet 'A guide to choosing a nursery? provides you with a checklist and questions to ask childcare providers.
For security, reasons we do ask you to make an appointment to look around. Please telephone or complete the request a visit form for the nursery you would like to visit. We will be pleased to show you around, answer any of your questions and in addition show you all our policies that govern the way we operate.
After considering your childcare options we hope you decide to choose us for your child's care and education. We know that we provide high quality childcare and education, and hope that after your visit, you will come to the same conclusion as well.
