Childcare Vouchers

It is possible to save up to £2392 pa of Tax and National Insurance on the cost of your childcare by using childcare vouchers. These vouchers are non-taxable and exempt from National Insurance Contribution up to a limit of £243 per month or £55 per week per parent. This means that families where both parents are taxpayers there is a potential saving of between £1924 and £2393 per annum on your tax status.

The provision of vouchers must be part of an employer?s scheme, but because vouchers are exempt from both employer and employee NIC your employer benefits too.
